If you ask Shenee Randolph what she does, she’ll tell you she’s a hairstylist.

But spend a little time with her, and you’ll quickly realize she’s so much more than that.

She’s a mother. An entrepreneur. An educator. A community advocate. A problem-solver. A woman who has had to start over more than once - and somehow found a way to turn every setback into another reason to keep going.

And at the center of it all is one thing:

People.

Shenee is the heart and vision behind Ms Naestyles LLC, a beauty and hair-care brand built around healthy hair, confidence, inclusion, and genuine connection.

Her journey into the beauty industry wasn't some perfectly mapped-out plan.

It started with her daughter.

After watching her daughter experience bullying because of her hair, Shenee began to see hair differently. It wasn't just hair. It was confidence. Identity. Self-esteem. The way a person sees themselves when they look in the mirror.

She wanted to help.

So she made a decision that would change the direction of her life. She stepped into cosmetology, learned the craft, and eventually built a career around helping people feel good about themselves.

What started as a personal passion became a purpose.

Over the years, Shenee has continued to grow her skills, her business, and her vision. But she never lost sight of the reason she started.

She wanted people to feel seen.

That's especially important to Shenee when it comes to clients who are often overlooked in traditional salon environments.

Through Ms Naestyles, she has created a space where people with different hair textures, different needs, different abilities, and different experiences can feel comfortable and cared for.

For Shenee, inclusivity isn't a marketing word.

It's personal.

She understands that sometimes getting your hair done can be overwhelming. Sometimes sensory sensitivities, anxiety, special needs, or simply having had a difficult experience in the past can make a salon visit challenging.

So instead of asking, “Why can't this person fit into the traditional salon experience?”

Shenee asks,

“How can I create an experience that works for them?”

That mindset is changing the way she approaches beauty.

And she's not stopping at the salon.

Shenee is developing education and resources to help other beauty professionals and caregivers better understand how to work with individuals with special needs. She's growing a hair-care product line designed with real people and real hair in mind. She's educating others about the craft of hairstyling. And she's creating opportunities for people who want to turn their own talents into businesses.

Because Shenee knows what it's like to take a chance on yourself.

She knows what it's like to build something while raising a family.

She knows what it's like to have people question your decisions.

She knows what it's like to lose something you worked hard to build- and have to figure out what comes next.

And she knows what it feels like to keep going anyway.

That resilience has become one of the defining characteristics of her story.

Today, Shenee's work reaches far beyond the salon chair.

Through her work with Black in Business 805, she helps create connections and opportunities for entrepreneurs in her community. She believes in collaboration over competition and understands that sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is reach back and help someone else find their way forward.

Her impact has also begun receiving the recognition it deserves, including being honored with the Rising Star Echo Boomer Award at CCMERA's 2025 Business Leadership Awards Gala and as an Honoree at the MyVegas Women Of Impact Awards.

But ask Shenee about the awards, and they're unlikely to be the first thing she talks about.

She'll talk about her clients.

She'll talk about her children.

She'll talk about the entrepreneur who needed encouragement.

She'll talk about the person who walked into her space lacking confidence and walked out standing a little taller.

Because that's what success means to her.
